Octo Hike – Mueller State Park

Homestead, Beaver Ponds, Rock Pond Loop - rolling hills, forested ridges, grassy valleys, ponds and rock formations await. This is an Octogenarian hike with slower pace, shorter mileage, lower elevation, and more frequent stops than an Easy A hike. Anyone may join an Octo Hike just be aware the pace will be slower.

Be aware this hike has more elevation gain than many Octo Hikes and is a longer  drive.

Meeting time:  7:30 am

Meeting location:  Cabelas Parking Lot off Ridgegate Drive - eastern most part of parking  lot

Driving directions:    I-25  S towards Colorado Springs, take Exit 141 Westbound & US 24 (Cimmaron St)  toward Manitou Springs.  Travel 25 miles through Woodland Park to Divide.  At traffic light in Divide, turn left (south) on CO 67 and travel almost 4 miles to Mueller State Park entrance. Go to  Visitor Ctr.
