Octo Hike – Flying J Ranch
This is an Octogenarian Hike. Octo Hikes have a slower pace, shorter mileage, less elevation gain, and more frequent stops then typical CMC Easy A hikes. On most Octo Hikes we also stop for a social lunch after the hike. You do not need to be an Octogenarian to join the Octo Hike series which runs from May through December. All are welcome just realize we will travel at a slower pace.

Leader will send two-day advance email with weather forecast and any additional information.
Bring a snack/lunch to eat at the picnic tables located at the upper TH. We will hike back to the lower TH where the cars will be located.
The destination is outside of Conifer, off Hwy 285.
Meeting location is Hampden & Wadsworth PNR.
Meeting time is 8:30 am. Please arrive in advance so carpools may be formed to depart at 8:30 am.
We will be gathering at the lower TH and hiking to the upper TH where there are bathrooms and a picnic shelter.
