We will pick a meeting place for carpooling based on the location of participants.  This is a 10+ mile event; anticipate a 730a Berthoud Pass Trailhead departure.

I've done this route in the summer a couple times, this will be the first time in winter.  

Although the route is mostly on-trail, nearly the entire trip will be above tree line and winter conditions always vary.  Prospective participants are required to have completed alpine climbing school or have equivalent experience.  

Registration with leader is required; those registering without leader approval will be removed from the trip.
