This is a Leader-in-Training trip for Marek Borowiec. Black Lake is a picturesque destination in Glacier Gorge, especially in the winter. Depending on conditions, we will snowshoe or use microspikes to reach our destination.

Details will be communicated by email before the trip date. For now, we plan to depart at 7am from the NW corner of Troutman Pkwy Target parking lot in Fort Collins.
This beautiful trail may get packed down if it hasn’t seen new snow in a few days, so we will evaluate whether we’ll need snowshoes based on the weather and reported conditions.
Required Equipment
Ten essentials, microspikes and/or snowshoes (TBD closer to trip date), winter hiking boots, ski/trekking poles with snow baskets.
