Intermediate Snowshoe – Kenosha Pass

RMOTHG Members Only - East or West both are best!!! Think of that Joni Mitchell song, "Both Sides". We will be snowshoeing (if you'd like ... I'll be spiking) around 1.2 miles on the west side to a lovely viewpoint and then shoe/spiking back, crossing US-285 and continue approximately 2 miles to an expansive view across South Park before heading back to our cars.

Morrison PnR - 7:30AM

I do not know that there will be enough snow for snowshoeing, so please be prepared to carry your snowshoes.  When I hiked this on January 6th there was not enough snow for snowshoes.  However, the last time I led this hike, there was some drifting and about 1/2 of us wished we had brought our snowshoes.

Right now the weather prediction is rather mild ... a high of 49°, 7mph wind, mostly sunny.
