This out-n-back snowshoe hike starts at the Jones Pass trailhead where we'll follow the Jones Pass Road. At ~0.75 miles we'll leave the road and follow the West Fork of Clear Creek up the valley, ascending to reach the Continental Divide Trail. We'll be afforded some amazing views of several peaks, including Vasquez Peak, and the CDT ridgeline. This route avoids the high avalanche danger areas. We'll find a sunny spot to stop for lunch/snack. We return to our cars following the same route. Our pace will be comfortable for all participants. Overall ~5.5 miles and ~1600 ft elevation gain.
