Welcome to the new Protected Places hike series, sponsored by the Denver Group Conservation & Trails Committee.

Hike and learn how land becomes protected, how land managers revive & rewstore landscapes, and why conservation matters.

Today, we'll hike from the main trailhead towards the Eagles View Trail with, as its name implies, really nice views from up high. We'll return down towards the road, cross it, and join the North Fork Trail for its final 1.6 miles and back to the trailhead.

Trailhead is located 5.6 miles south of the Foxton Road exit on US 285, on the west end of Conifer. There is an outhouse at the trailhead.
