This will be an approximately 5 mile hike along the stream in Young Gulch, where there are several stream crossings and wildflowers.  Although the trail continues on further, once we reach an area that was affected by the 2012 wildfire, we will enjoy a quick snack.  We will then hike back to the TH near the Poudre River, and drive 5 minutes to the Mishawaka restaurant by 12:30 where we can enjoy a lunch on the deck overlooking the river (or inside if too windy).  Those not wishing to go to the restaurant may return to Fort Collins.

Meet in the Pringles parking lot (2100 W. Drake Rd., Ft. Collins) at 8:00 a.m. to carpool to the Young Gulch TH 13 miles up the Poudre Canyon (Hwy. 14).  There is no restroom at the TH.
