Meet at 7:00 am on the West side of Hwy 550 at Government Springs Road, approximately 7 miles south of Montrose, gravel parking area across from the Land Office
Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome on this hike. From the parking area on Hwy 550 at a big curve about 9.7 miles South of Silverton, before ascending Coal Bank Pass, we follow the unmarked trail on the North side of the creek to a point were the trail ends. There are several nice pools and multiple easy creek crossings along the way.
