This loop is very pretty in the fall and winter. It's less crowded and avoids summer heat because much of the trail is through open meadow.

Meet at CoorsTek, across the street from CMC. Arrive by 8:00am for a prompt drive-away. The per car shared cost is $15.00/per car, to be divided equally among the occupants, including the driver. We will drive to the Walker Ranch Loop TH, Flagstaff Rd, Boulder, via Coal Creek Canyon, bit.ly/3QUgPgm.
The closer Crescent Meadows TH now requires a per-person fee and advance reservations made through CMC staff and CPW.
Please be prepared to drive if you have a current Boulder OS permit.
I will write you a day or two ahead with up-to-date meet time and weather.
Plan to bring microspikes for icy trails.
