Hiking – Vasquez Peak

There are nice views of the Indian Peaks to the north and east and the Gore Range to the west location within The Vasquez Mountains. We will first hike from creek on Jones Pass Road up to Vasquez Peak at 12.9'k on the Continental Divide then go on to Mount Nystrom. Mount Nystrom is accessible from the Continental Divide Trail. We will finish by descending the steep meadows to Jones Pass road. This hike is for you if you will have recently completed 10 mile w/ 3k elevation gain.
