This hike is limited to 2024 ISO participants.

We will enjoy an inspiring 5.5 mile hike from the overlook of Lily Lake down a steep embankment to the Aspen Brook trail, where we will follow the refreshing stream through the forest to the well-preserved 1914 Wigwam Teahouse built by Anna Wolfram.  Here we will learn more about this amazing woman and her tourist business, while having our early lunch/snack.  We will return along the Aspen Brook trail to the Storm Pass trail, then ascend 780' up to the SW corner of pretty Lily Lake and on to the parking lot before carpooling back to the YMCA.  Bring your essentials, water, lunch, raingear, sturdy boots, and insect repellant (poles can be helpful too).  This will be an enjoyable way to take in the beauty while learning about an amazing pioneering woman!
