Hiking – Staunton State Park

We will hike an 8 Mile loop starting up the Mason Creek Trail, to Bear Paw, past the old mill and back.

We will meet at the Morrison Park n Ride, just off of C-470, at 8:00 AM. Here is a link to the PnR.  We will carpool from there and leave promptly at 8:10 AM.

Drivers will need a state parks pass. Bring spikes, as the trails can be icy, especially along Mason Creek. Climbing is gradual on this hike. We will enjoy panoramic views from the ledges at the top. Here is a COTREK link to our intended route.
