Hiking – Staunton State Park

We will begin this trip with a private tour of the Staunton Historic cabin by a Staunton volunteer specialist. Then we will complete the historic cabins trail and Davis Pond. We will take a break at the Davis Ponds for snack or lunch & then return to our cars.

meet at 7:45am, depart sharp at 8 AM. Meet at the Fort Restaurant, Morrison. Please park at the south end of paved parking on the street. DO NOT go down into into the Fort Restaurant parking area lower and closer to their bldg.

We will begin this trip with a private tour of the Staunton Historic cabin by a Staunton volunteer specialist who will tell us the history of the park and restored Historic cabin. After approx 1 hr we will continue tour on our own of the rest of the buildings. The loop down to Davis Ponds for a snack/lunch break.
