St. Vrain Mountain

Trip

Hiking – St. Vrain Mountain

This hike will be semi-scouting depending on current snow conditions and snowshoes and/or traction (such as microspikes) may be needed. We'll begin within treeline, following a trail up towards the Indian Peaks Wilderness boundary before splitting off and ascending talus to Meadow Mountain. After, we'll descend to continue towards St. Vrain Mountain, dipping in and out of Rocky Mountain National Park. As we get to Meadow Mountain and beyond, there will be great views of the peaks in the Wild Basin area on a clear day.
