To carpool from Pueblo: Meet at the parking lot west of the Loaf n’ Jug off of Pueblo Blvd and I-25 (1283 W Pueblo Blvd., Pueblo, CO 81004). Please be ready to depart at 6am.  From there we will carpool or caravan to the St. Charles Trailhead on Colorado 165 4 miles north of San Isabel.

Leader permission required.  Preference will be given to El Pueblo and Pikes Peak group members.  We’ll plan on a 1 ½ to 2 mph moving pace, a lunch break near the top and breaks along the way as necessary.  The trail is shared with motorcycles and is eroded in places.  Hiking poles would be helpful.
