This trail is mostly sand. Red Sandstone Spires. Great views of Craggy Outcroppings. Many good photo shots.

Location: 8354 S. Valley Rd. Littleton, Co. 80127. North trail head. From C-470, exit Ken Caryl Ave., and go west to South Valley Rd. Drive South, until you see the sign, North Trail Head parking lot. Meet up time will be 9:00 AM. I was here on Wed. 1/24/2024, and walked it. Some mud and snow spots, but mostly clear. We may need to put on spikes for short hike up to the top of the Lyons Back Trail. This has great views from both sides at the top and the Columbine trail. Call me at home at 720-353-4747. The day of the hike my cell # is 720-403-1864, if you have to cancel. Weather is showing 60's next week, and sunny on Wed. Bring a lunch and we can use the tables when we return.
