Meet at 7:25am in the parking lot in front of Which Wich in Silverthorne for a 7:30am departure to carpool to the trailhead 1 hour away. I think we need the early start to improve our chance of getting a spot at the trailhead on a weekend. Anyone coming from the front range is welcome to meet us at the trailhead at 8:30am. I have not been to this trailhead but understand that the last mile is bumpy, but passable in a moderate clearance 2WD car.
Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome on this hike. Please keep your leash short enough that the dog doesn't get under other hiker's feet.
