Hiking – RMNP - Wild Basin TH

Folks must ask for permission to attend this hike, otherwise you'll be removed from the roster.

I'd love to explore this gorgeous peak in RMNP. Isolation Peak is so named because of its remoteness in the heart of the Wild Basin.

The hike takes us along beautiful RMNP trails past a string of remote alpine lakes: Bluebird, Pipit and Isolation on gentle slopes up to this peak. The views throughout are stunning. 

Since it is (still) winter season, expect alternating between snowshoes and bare boots.

This is a strenuous hike owing to the length, elevation gain and terrain.
