We will start from Vail Pass, connect to the Wilder Trail, then up to Ptarmigan Pass and Ptarmigan Hill.

If you have any known medical conditions that may manifest themselves during this activity, please notify the leader via e-mail prior to the trip.  If you have known exposure to a COVID-positive case within 5 days of this trip, please do not come. Do not come if you are sick. 

Bring the usual: 10 Essentials 

Please bring money for ride sharing (.35/mile divided by # people in car) and put your boots on your feet or in a bag/container.

Meet at the Vail Pass rest area at 7:45am or the Kayak overnight parking area in Frisco at 7:30 am.

The Vail Pass rest area is under construction.  If you are unsure of where to park, please wait in your vehicle near the little hut at the entrance.

Ptarmigan Hill is a 12,143' point on the border between Summit and Eagle Counties. We will start from Vail Pass, connect to Wilder Gulch, then on to Ptarmigan Pass and Ptarmigan Hill.
