Hiking – Pettingell Peak

We will meet at Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, section BB, across from the Exxon gas station, at 6:45am so we can form carpools for the drive to the trailhead and have a PROMPT departure of 7:00am.  Here’s a Google Maps link to Wooly Mammoth: https://goo.gl/maps/XSeTnxeQnvDzLMWz7 

Then we will proceed to the Herman Gulch Trailhead, where we will start our hike, Take exit 218 from I-70 W.  Here is a Google Maps link to the Herman Gulch trailhead:  https://goo.gl/maps/cThMKstfPP1WHWAf8   

This hike starts at Herman Gulch Trailhead, takes the Herman Gulch trail up to Herman Lake.  From there we will take a Class 2 off trail route up to Pettingell Peak.  While on the ridge we will head southwest to take in point 13,418 as well.
