Hiking – Palmer Lake Reservoir Trailhead - Palmer Lake Reservoir-Limbaugh loop

We will meet at the Palmer Lake Reservoir trailhead for a 9am start. Parking fee at the trailhead is $5.  We’ll email details for a carpool meetup in an email the day prior to the hike.

This will be a moderately-paced hike.  We will start heading up toward the Palmer Lake Reservoirs, circle around Chautauqua Mountain and finish through Limbaugh Canyon.  There is lots of tree cover along the trail which means ice, snow and mud are more prevalent in the winter months. It is recommended that hikers carry hiking poles and/or micro spikes case trail conditions become questionable. 

For those who are interested, we will find a place to grab lunch after the hike.
