Hiking – Orbital Trail - Segment 10
This hike is for RMOTHG members only. Starting from the parking lot at Highland Heritage Regional Park, we’ll do an out and back hike to the top of Bluffs regional park via the Big Dry Creek Trail and the East West Trail. We’ll enjoy the views from 2 short spur trails, then descend via the same route.

Meet at Highland Heritage Regional Park south parking lot by the Hound Hill dog park at 8:45 am for 9:00 am start. It's a large park with several sections. The dog park GPS coordinates are: 39.537985, -104.917433, and the address for the park itself is 9651 S Quebec St, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130. We will be hiking from the parking lot, and returning to it, so no car shuttling is required.
This is an out and back hike of the west part of the Denver Orbital Trail Section 10. It's 5.8 miles RT, 415' elevation gain, max elevation 6275'. There are sweeping views of the Denver Metro and front range from the top of the Bluff.
