This is a hike to the summit of "Old Baldy" above Arapaho Saddle using the Arapaho Pass and Arapaho Glacier trails, from the 4th of July trailhead. Once we reach the saddle we'll hike off-trail to the summit of "Old Baldy", with views of the Arapaho Glacier cirque, South and North Arapaho Peaks, and Boulder Watershed Lakes.

This out-n-back route starts at the 4th of July trailhead and follows the Arapaho Pass trail. We'll then head northeast along the Arapaho Glacier trail to the saddle, at which point we head off-trail to the summit of "Old Baldy". Our pace will be consistent with reaching the summit and comfortable for all participants. We'll find a sunny, comfortable spot at/near the summit to have a snack/lunch. We will return to our cars along the same route. (Old Baldy Summit - CalTopo)
