We will meet at the Wooly Mammoth PnR section BB at 6:00am.
This will be mostly an off-trail hike up steep slopes, through the woods, and over/under all obstacles until the summit of Little Sugarloaf is reached, Following that the group will head south to ascend Big Sugarloaf. We will then head east down steep slopes to (hopefully) meet the Hells Hole Trail for a more pleasant hike back to the TH.
There will be no opportunity to stop short and turn back to the TH. This will be a challenging loop-hike at a consistent moderate pace. This is not for the inexperienced off-trail hiker.
The hike may take up to six hours, plus the one hour drive each way. Plan on a minimum of an eight hour day for this adventure.
