Hiking – North Cheyenne Canyon - St Mary's Falls

We can meet at the Safeway along Colo Ave to carpool and be ready to leave at 8:15 or if you'd like to meet at the Upper P/Lot above Helen Hunt Falls at 9am.  Here's the link for the Upper P/Lot:

We will be leaving from the Hub P/Lot and hiking up the Old Gold Camp Rd past the closed Tunnel #3 on to the trail through Buffalo Canyon.  We'll stop to visit an old cabin site that Frank and Robert Cheley built about 1906. The cabin is gone.  We'll return the same way. Bring micro-spikes and also snowshoes just in case they are needed.  Bring snacks, lunch, water along with the 10 essentials.  Dress in layers; it will be cold.  Forecast will be sent to participants.
