Meet at the Starsmore Discovery Center, 2120 S Cheyenne Cañon Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906 (Parking lot is in area, but we will meet in front of the Discovery Center before hiking into North Cheyenne Park)

Spring conditions can be ‘iffy’; this trip plans to still go if it snows (might need micro-traction/spikes) or muddy (gators/traction). Email will be sent 1 or 2 days prior to event date.

There are sections of uneven terrain, scree, thin trail, a couple steps of trail scrambling, and exposure. Poles (optional) may be useful.

Dogs must be on leash at all times, and hiking-friendly
