RMOTHG Members Only.  Mount Flora (13,127' elevation) is a gorgeous hike, mostly above treeline,  that starts at Berthoud Pass (11,306' elevation).  This time of year it really lives up to it's name with tons of amazing alpine wildflowers all over the mountainside the entire hike!!!    We will have expansive views that include Vasquez Peak, Indian Peaks, Longs Peak, Grays and Torreys Peaks.

The very beginning of the hike is along a dirt road but it quickly veers off to a narrow one-track trail that will take us to the ridge between Blue Lake on the South and the Frazier River on the North.  After that the trail is quite rocky and  narrow but provides wonderful views.  We'll return the same way.

We are starting early to hopefully complete the trip before the thunderstorms.
