As of 6/2/24, there's still quite a bit of snow below 12k, especially on the northern aspects of the Mount Flora Trail before we reach the ridge. It will be similar (but likely better) on 6/15. Expect there to be some post-holing, so you may want to bring gaiters. Snowshoes are probably overkill, spikes may be worthwhile in the early morning.
Beyond 12k, the trail is clear and dry with only a few small patches of snow.

For those who are interested, we'll find a social stop after the hike. Location TBD.
We'll meet for a carpool at the Wooly Mammoth Park N Ride just off of I-70 Exit 259 (Morrison/Golden), Section BB (across from the Exxon gas station). If you'd like to carpool, get there a few minutes before 6:30 AM, and we'll depart at 6:30 AM.
If you'd like to meet at the trailhead, be at Berthoud Pass by 7:30 AM.
Required Equipment
Ten Essentials, consider bringing microspikes or other traction, and consider bringing gaiters for the descent.
