The Bobcats’ mission is to ensure a variety of challenging CMC trips, mostly on weekdays, all year long, for our mostly age 50+ constituents. We don’t have dues or elections and we invite all CMC members to sign up for any Bobcats trip. A monthly email is sent to all Bobcats members with the upcoming month’s trips, just after those trips are activated.
You can search for Bobcats trips by selecting “Bobcats Section” in the CMC Trip Calendar “Section” pull-down menu. To join our free mailing list and become a Bobcats member, select the “Bobcats Section” in your Member Profile.

Meet at Jeffco Open Space Mt. Falcon East trailhead for a 10:00 start. There are outhouses at the trailhead but no water.

Bring microspikes and poles, if you use. Expect icy and muddy conditions.  This trail may be closed if the conditions are too muddy or we may need snowshoes.  Leader will inform you of closure if too muddy or if snowshoes are needed.
