This is a loop hike, mostly on ridgelines above timberline, that will bag 4 13ers.

We will park on the road near mosquito creek and then hike up the Mosquito Pass road to a saddle. From there we will proceed west up the ridge to Kuss Peak where there is an old communications tower. Kuss Peak stands at 13,548 feet. From there we will proceed to Mosquito Peak which stands at 13,781 feet. We will take a good break for snack and photos at this point. Subsequently we will proceed to Treasurevault Mountain which stands at 13,701 feet and is an unofficial 14er. From here we will proceed to Mount Tweto which stands at 13,762 feet. We will take a break here after summiting our second official 13er and fourth total for the day. We will back track to the saddle between Mount Tweto and Treasurevault Mountain from which we will proceed down a tundra slope to connect with an old mining road which we will take back to the parking area. This will be a loop hike, at high altitude, on mostly tundra, boulders and talus. It is class 2.
