This will be a 4.0 mile casually-paced hike. We will travel and take breaks as a group. From the trailhead we will travel in a clockwise direction reaching the summit of Bald Mountain in less than a mile with an elevation gain of approximately 850 ft. This will be the steepest part of the hike. Along the way, you’ll be able to enjoy views of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain.

A detailed email will be sent to participants the night before with expected weather conditions and any alternate plans.
We will leave the Woodland Park Wal-mart at 7:45a and consolidate cars as there is limited parking at the trailhead.
Required Equipment
In addition to the 10 Essentials, hiking poles and traction are recommended as there may be some icy spots on the route.
