Let's meet at the Lions Park and Transit Hub at the intersection of highways US 191, and Utah 128 in Moab at 9:00 AM. The Transit Hub is located on the south side of highway Utah 128.  We will carpool to the trailhead off of highway Utah 313.

This hike will be off-trail, mostly on sandy soil as well as on some social trails. Participants might end up with wet and/or muddy boots.  Bringing a spare pair of footwear for after the hike might be helpful. We will have the opportunity to see ancient Native American rock art on the canyon walls. The round-trip distance for this hike could be 6-10 miles depending on how far participants want to hike.
