We will meet at 8:00 AM at the YMCA of the Rockies trailhead that leads into RMNP.  After a .5 mi walk to Tuxedo Park we will board a bus which will take us to a Park & Ride where we will board a shuttle that will take us to the Glacier Gorge parking lot.

The tailhead is located on the south side of the Glacier Gorge parking lot. the trail begins to the right of thr kiosk.  Follow the trail.3 miles to the junction with the Bear Lake trail. Turn left at this junction and follow the trail through a small grove of aspen trees.  Pass over 2 log bridges before reaching Alberta Falls.  The trail climbs steadily  to the junction with N. Long Peak Trail.  Veer right and continue on the trail as it hugs the side of a deep gorge above Glacier Creek.  The trail levels out before reaching the junction with trails to Lock Vale and Lake Haiyaha.  Veer left and follow the signs to Mills Lake  Follow a series of cairns across the glacially scoured terrain a short distance to the lake.

Lunch at the lake and return on the same trail
