Mayhem Gulch/Juniper loop trail is a 5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Golden that features a waterfall and is rated as moderateA. Bring snacks/lunch, rain gear, hiking poles, sturdy boots, sunscreen, plenty of water, and your 10 essentials. Please contact the leader before the hike is you have any medical issues.
Meet at 9:00 AM Sharp at the Mayhem Gulch trailhead located along HWY 6/ Clear Creek Canyon Rd. Directions from Washington Ave. in Golden: Going north on Washington Ave, go over the bridge, turn left onto Hwy 6/Clear Creek Canyon rd. Between mile marker 262.5 and 262 about 9.5 miles look for Mayhem Gulch parking lot on the right side of the road as you are coming up to a curve in road. PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME TRAVELING up the canyon because of construction on the road which narrows to one lane.
