Limited parking at the trailhead will necessitate an early start.

Depart CMC at 6 am. Pick up and restroom stop at Nederland High School, with 7:10 am departure.

Drive up the 5 mile 4th of July Road is rough. Carroll will drive her Outback, but one more SUV driver will be needed.
