Seven Bridges to Loud's Cabin is fun hike traveling over 7 bridges then up a trail with a steady gain that includes areas of scree and light rock scrambling that transitions to a trail going through an aspen forest with a steady ascent up to a ridge. From ridge, the trail follows gently rolling terrain through a forested area until the cabin comes into view.
The remains of the cabin are fun to explore and the location of the cabin provides a great place to eat lunch. If some or all of the group is interested, we can go out for an after-hike celebratory meal and/or libation.
The closing date of the hike is Please by Thursday, April 3rd at 8pm. If I have not had the pleasure of hiking with you before, I will want to connect with you before Thursday to determine if there are any medical conditions you have that I should be aware of and get a feel for your level of fitness by learning about the mileage and gain of hikes you have completed in the last two months.
Please watch for an email that will be sent out to registered participants on Friday, April 4th late afternoon or evening with information about the weather forecast, expected trail conditions, and possible modification of required gear for the hike.
