This is an out and back hike into the southwest part of the Lost Creek Wilderness. From the trailhead, we will follow the Lizard Rock trail, Hankins Pass trail, then the Lake Park trail to a pass at just under 11,000 feet. At that point, we will go off trail for 2 miles round trip and 400 ft elevation gain, with some Class 2 and Class 3 scrambling up the west ridge of Lake Park Peak. You will need to bring a helmet and some gloves for the scrambling.
