Hiking – Lamba Chops

Hike the Lamba Chops to Hot Shops Loop off of Templeton Canyon Road outside of Canon City. The trail starts off relatively flat going behind a residential area and then starts to climb gently passing through stereotypic Southern Colorado terrain then into a Ponderosa Pine Forest. Much of the hike is easy rolling terrain with some areas of moderate gain. Anticipate some snow and/or mud on the trail that could make the hike somewhat more difficult. 5.9 miles, 800' gain, 1.5-2mph pace, easy to moderate hike.
