Hiking – Kenosha Pass East
RMOTHG Members Only ... We'll MICROspike or possibly snowshoe the East Side of the pass for an out-and-back of 6.2 miles through Aspen and Bristlecone Pine Forests to an expansive view to both the south and west. We'll have glimpses of the mountains that ring South Park throughout the hike.

If the weather looks bad, I may change this hike to Wednesday, March 8th.
We will have a "comfort stop" at the Loaf 'N Jug in Bailey. I will keep an eye on the weather and snow depth and let you know closer to the hike if we need MICROspikes and/or snowshoes. Also, if there is time on the way back, we may stop at the Snowpack Tap Room & Pizzeria in Conifer.

Required Equipment
MICROspikes, possibly snowshoes, trekking poles, warm drinks, lots of WINDPROOF layers, lunch, 2 liters of water, 1st aid kit, the rest of the 10 essentials.
