Hiking – Independence Peak via O'Fallon Park

Starting at OFallon park (HWY 74) TH we will take the West Ridge trail to the Bear Creek trail and then to Pence Park Then we will take the Independence Mountain trail to the summit. All of the hike will be on trail through a very nice forest. There are some fairly steep sections in the Pence Park segment to the summit of our peak.

Directions to TH - From Morrison drive up Bear Creek Canyon road (HWY 74) about 7.8 miles to O'Fallon Trail head on the left. We will meet at this trail head at 8:00am. Please arrive a few minutes early for a prompt departure.  Rico 303-956-8122
