This hike starts out with a short steep stretch along a beautiful creek, but eases off and becomes a pleasant walk through a wooded valley, then switch-backs up a hillside, passing several old cabins from the mining days.
By signing up, you agree to stay with the group. We will move at the pace noted above. We will take regular breaks for rest and refreshment, photography, and scenery. If time allows, we will take a slightly longer break at the Ida Belle Mine.
Additionally, you must have already done a few hikes fitting the “challenging” CMC classification this summer, and be comfortable on loose scree and steep sections.
