Hiking – Happy Hour Hike - Cherry Creek State Park

We will meet at the parking area and walk in - no fees or park pass required.

Meet at 5:30pm for a 5:40pm departure

Full-time job? Jealous of “the others” who get to hike mid-week while you’re at work? This one’s for you!

Meet after work for a “happy hour hike”, bring your dog if you’d like.

This one will be in Cherry Creek State Park. We will start at outside the park not the Parker Road, Aurora side, and walk in on the Shop creek trail. This will be a circular route, mostly single track and gravel, with a little bit on concrete trail.

Dogs must be well-behaved, non-reactive and should be able to walk at a fast pace (though we allow plenty time to sniff and “mark”).

We will practice Leave No Trace (LNT) with NO exceptions. If you don’t want to carry your dog’s poop with you, this is not the hike for you. Dogs must be leash at all times.
