This will be a long, hard and rewarding day. Trail approach and then off trail with some 2+-3 scrambling and route finding to the summit. The group must stay together as this is a complex area and it is easy to get lost.

I will be car camping at the Lake Charles Trailhead the night before. It is approximately 3-3.5 hours to the trailhead from Denver. Expect an alpine start.
