Meet at the Riverside Nature Center at 8 AM.

Driving directions: Coming from the north, take US Hwy 550 to Aztec. In Aztec, 550 turns left and heads south. At that intersection, stay straight on Hwy 516, which becomes Main Street as you enter Farmington.  Look for Browning Parkway (still Hwy 516), where you turn left. Drive to the first traffic light, turn right, proceed to the roundabout, go right there, then take your first left, which takes you to a parking area, next to a gate. We will meet there.

Or from US 64 south of Farmington, turn north onto Browning Parkway (NM-516), and go to the third traffic light, turn left there, proceed right at the roundabout, then take your first left, which takes you to a parking area, next to a gate. We will meet there.

Mike Foster, CMC Leader Emeritus is doing this seminar. This is the first of two trips to look for migrating birds in the fall. The other will be on October 26.  No dogs please. Leisurely pace. Trip will be 2.5 miles on level dirt trails.   Register on the Sierra Club website:www.riograndesierraclub.org/calendar  no later than Wednesday, August 28, it's free!
