Hiking – Embryo Pond

TBD, Meeting time and place to be email a couple days before the trip. EMAIL THE LEADER TO REGISTER (Before the registration opens). Northern Colorado participants will be given until December 18 to register (when they  email me), after that I will add the others that have emailed me to the roster.

This trip will involve a lot of off trail, so it is a bit more difficult than the distance would imply. We will start at Bear Lake, go down towards Glacier Gorge, up the winter trail, up a steep trail towards The Loch, cross The Lock (usually in very cold high winds), go on trail a bit further then off trail to Embryo Pond. We will then proceed back to The Loch, go off trail to Serendipity Pond (un-named on maps), then climb up to West Glacier Knob. We will then descend off the knob and go off trail to Nymph Lake and back down to the trailhead.
