Eldorado mountain is the most prominent peak south of South Boulder Peak.

This is an off-trail hike. Starting in Eldo state park (you need a Colorado State Parks pass for your car), we'll start along the Rattlesnake Gulch trail. About a mile in we'll go off trail all the way to the summit of Eldorado Mountain. Along the way, expect some bushwhacking and scrambling. If there are interesting rocks, we may scramble those.

The hike is about 4.5 miles RT with 2300' of gain.
