Hiking – Eldorado Canyon State Park
RMOTHG MEMBERS ONLY This hike is really called: Fowler/Rattlesnake Gulch "Balloon Loop" Halloween Hike :) :) :) This is a fun, very steep hike with beautiful views both near and far!!! We will start at the Fowler TH just outside of Eldorado Canyon State Park and after 1 1/4 miles we'll hike into the park. The near views will be of the towering red rock walls of the canyon and the far views are at the Continental Divide Overlook, our lunch spot. Please note: you must pay the $5 nonrefundable fee in order to sign up for this hike, if you select "Pending Payment" it will magically cancel you off within an hour.

This is a Halloween Hike. Please come in costume, if you can. I may have some extra forest animal "crowns" for anyone needing a costume ;) ;) ;) I plan on wearing a moose head!!! Sorry about the additional $5 for this hike, but it is a requirement if we want to hike into Eldorado Canyon.
Required Equipment
State Parks Pass or car registration with Keep Colorado Wild Stamp on it, TREKKING POLES, The Ten Essentials, possibly micro spikes.
