We'll take a loop route to the summit of Plymouth Mountain in Deer Creek Canyon Park. The ascent route will cover the ~1400 ft of elevation gain in stages, ensuring that we all get to enjoy the views at the summit.

Carpool Place & Time: We will meet at Morrison Park-n-Ride lot at 7:30AM, form carpools, and depart at 7:45AM ( Morrison PnR - Google Maps )

This hike is for RMOTHG members only

Our hike will begin at the Deer Creek Canyon Park Parking Lot, with a modest ascent along the Meadowlark Trail (no bikes allowed on this trail), then continuing our ascent along the Plymouth Creek Trail. We'll then go CW along the Plymouth Mountain Trail until we meet the spur trail for the final ascent to the summit. Our return route will complete the Plymouth Mountain Trail Loop and descend along the Plymouth Creek Trail to the trailhead. We'll find a sunny spot at or near the summit to stop for lunch. Our pace will be comfortable for all group members. This is a multi-use trail system, so we may encounter the occasional mountain bike rider. (Plymouth Mountain Loop - CalTopo)
