This is a unique loop trail that starts finishes in the National Monument and passes through the Bangs Canyon Recreational area. We may encounter bikes trailing on the Ribbon trail portion of this hike.
This loop passes over multiple trail conditions, including primitive trails and slick rock. There is one steep drop-off on this route. I have identified a route around this feature.
The group will meet at 9:00 am at the Devils Kitchen Picnic Area. Enter the Colorado National Monument east entrance. Take the first right hand turn past the entrance fee booth to the Devils Kitchen Picnic Area.
